Challenges Encountered and How They Were AddressedChallenges EncounteredBelow is an email excerpt from JennyFor the photo below with the yellow, it's a bit snug on that part. If I'm going to slide my hand in with my palm upward, I can't lay it flat I had to twist it a bit to comfortably fit because if I lay it flat, the bone in wrist hits the side with screw - it hurts a bit but nothing extreme. If you look at the yellow facing the right direction that part is slightly sticking out than the left part (near the thumb) Would you advise to heat it up with a blow dryer and flatten it? I'm just thinking if I flatten the screw might not fold the hand anymore. Or I can try to put a padding inside. |

How the Challenges Encountered Were Addressed |
||
After some discussion, I made 2 more sets of Gauntlets and palms. I used a gauntlet forming jig from an other model to stretch the gauntlet at the wrist and used a hairdryer for about 10 minutes on the wrist area.
In the picture on the right, the gauntlet on the bottom is printed at 100% and the palm and gauntlet on the top is the set from above showing the stretched wrist area.
This set was stretched a little larger
I mailed the test sets off to Jenny and she wrote me back to say that the new gauntlets and palms were too loose and that she prefers the one she has.
